| Accessibility: | There is a small car park with one space marked for disabled. The library has ramped access suitable for wheelchairs and an automatic entrance door. There is level wheelchair access to the adult library. The children's library is located down 3 steps with handrail. Registered assistance dogs are welcome. An Induction Loop is available. IT Facilities: All Hillingdon's libraries have at least one PC labelled 'Fully Accessible PC'. This PC is equipped with a large screen, tracker-ball mouse, easy-to-use keyboard and special software called 'Supernova' which enables people with any special needs to access the Internet, email and MS Office packages more easily. Wheelchair users can also borrow a laptray for the keyboard. Where possible the PC is positioned on a fully height-adjustable workstation/desk. |
