Access policy: Without being a member, you can visit any library in Kingston and read books, newspapers or magazines, ask for information, or sit and study. Members can borrow (or hire) books, videos, DVDs, CDs and other items to take home, use the internet. Computer only members can use the internet for free. Anyone can apply for a Membership Card and joining is free. For FULL MEMBERSHIP you should bring in two official items, one of which has both your NAME AND CURRENT ADDRESS on it (e.g. utility bill, bank statement, council tax book, driving licence), and one that confirms your SIGNATURE, (e.g. a credit/debit card, current passport, travel card). For a COMPUTER USER ONLY CARD you need one official item that confirms your name and address.
Accessibility: Front doors are automatic and there is a lift to the first floor. Disabled toilet. Computer software for disabled persons available, please contact branch for details. CCTV magnifier in IT suite on first floor.
Opening hours: Monday: 9.30am to 8.00pm, Tuesday: 9.30am to 5.30pm, Wednesday: CLOSED, Thursday: 9.30am to 5.30pm, Friday: 9.30am to 8.00pm, Saturday: 9.30am to 5.30pm, Sunday: CLOSED.
