General collection
Collections of lending and reference books are held at the Central Library, Bexleyheath . Stock includes materials for adults, children and young people in print and other media including accessible formats (large print and spoken word CDs and audio cassettes). ,

Local Studies Collection
The collection includes written records of Bexley’s people and communities from the fourteenth century AD to the present day and is is also useful for research into family history. There are documents, maps, books, photos, censuses, newspapers etc. relating to the history of all areas now within the present London Borough of Bexley including Bexley Village, Bexleyheath, Belvedere, Crayford, Erith, Sidcup, Slade Green, Welling etc. The material also includes non-conformist chapel records as well as those of the local parish.,
