Local Studies Collection
The collection includes written records of Bexleys people and communities from the fourteenth century AD to the present day and is is also useful for research into family history. There are documents, maps, books, photos, censuses, newspapers etc. relating to the history of all areas now within the present London Borough of Bexley including Bexley Village, Bexleyheath, Belvedere, Crayford, Erith, Sidcup, Slade Green, Welling etc. The material also includes non-conformist chapel records as well as those of the local parish.,
