There is a lift for access to all floors, though health and safety restrictions mean that library users must be able to use stairs to vacate the upper floor in the event of a fire. Teaching Resources Collection
Collection of resources for the use of students and staff working with children and young people in pre-schools, schools and colleges. The collection includes book stock for all ages from under-fives to teenagers picture books and both fiction and non-fiction. Formats include video, DVD, as well as posters and display material.

Falmer Library, Main Collection
The Falmer Library collection supports teaching and research at the Falmer site of the University of Brighton. Subject coverage is education, continuing professional development, languages and language studies, medicine, nursing, midwifery and social sciences. There is also a general reference collection and several daily newspapers are taken.
